ip assignment issues
hi. apologies if this isn't posted in the right place. i'm struggling to connect with my readynas ultra 4 and i cannot figure out the following: i am using an almond+ router that assigns ip address...

Hi chhumper,
Is your NAS directly connected to you Almond+router? If yes, I believe your existing router has other LAN ports...try to connect your NAS to other LAN ports of your router then check if it will get an IP Address and if it will not switch back to its default IP address of 192.168.168.168.
Consider setting a static IP address to your NAS that is within the IP address range of your local network.
