Joined to core DC. Can't add users from other domains
I've got a ReadyNAS 3200 I just defaulted to rebuild a 16TB arrary. Decided to use domain authentication this go around. I successfully joined it and anyone built in my core domain works as expected. I can see all the other domain/users under "users and groups". The file shares are all set to default access none. When trying to add users from other domains to the write access they populate but then I get the popup message the user doesn't exist.
So i called support and they said to use windows to adjust the permissions. After doing that I still can't connect. I see in the samba logs that it is authenticating me. I'm just getting an access denied even though I set it to full permissions for the testuser.
Anyone seen this before or know where i can see why it is giving me read/write issues. The file share in ssh shows the owner as my domain admin and the group is domain users.

- Did you set the forest to be shared in your domain settings on the readynas this is under the security settings. Also make sure the Time zone is set to the correct time zone in Clock tab. Back to security settings, Also make sure your Domain type is set to ADS. Make sure your NTP points to the IP address instead of hostname or domain name. Make sure your DNS points at your DC also using IP. Also make sure that when your in domain mode that you set your permissions using the your Domain controller with the admin account, set sharing on all folders to everyone - or just dont touch the sharing tab, just play around with the security tab. Remember the more specific rules win.
