Kernel Panic during initial Install
Hey guys, Im new to NAS and this is my first install, so im just checking everything is in order. During the initial boot up the LED panel shows "Kernel Panic" the entire time, is this normal? ...

That's not normal and doesn't sound good.
Best to connect the disks up to an internal SATA port in your PC and delete the partitions, then put back in the NAS and do a factory default via the boot menu (see the hardware manuals: http://www.readynas.com/docs)
Is this a v1 (silver chassis) or v2 (charcoal chassis)?
