Lion breaks Spotlight searching

I typically use EasyFind (http://www.devon-technologies.com/products/freeware/) to perform searches against my NAS. There've been other threads in this forum on it (and other spotlight alternatives).
EasyFind's searches aren't instantaneous like Spotlight (because there's no index to search), but EasyFind is still very fast. I've never had a search take 1/2 hour. I think the longest a search has taken was a minute or two.
