Lion breaks Spotlight searching

Lion (/etc/hosts file with reverse DNS configured for localhost) search with Spotlight after reindexing with shares switched on makes Ready NAS NV+ to loose connection to network services. 4.1.8 software.
Basically every time I fire Spotlight now, it kills ReadyNAS NV+ connections for the group.
