If you did it "years ago" then you are trying to install v2 firmware on a v1 product. Please confirm your platform here: http://www.rnasguide.com/2012/01/09/how ... -or-nv-v2/
If you have a v1, then you need 4.1.x firmware. 5.x.x won't work.
