Locating OU
Please I have problems:
Specify the location of the computer account of the ReadyDATA in the Active Directory.
Can u help me out
What ReadyData unit do you have? Sorry to ask but your Sig shows RN3138. If it is the model you are configuring then you might want to check this guide instead.
You need to use the OU field if you will be using a different OU other than the default. If you leave it blank it will create the Computer Account under the default OU.
By default, the computer account for the ReadyDATA is placed in the users organizational unit (OU)
The computer account would be saved on the the default OU if no specified OU will be set.
Note: The name of the computer account (also referred to as machine account) is the same as the host name of the ReadyDATA/ReadyNAS.
If you will set a different OU, You can specify OUs by specifying the lowest-level OU first (the OU closest to the root of the Active Directory) with further OUs separated by a forward slash. For example, First_Level_OU/Second_Level_OU or Sales/Computers/Servers.
Hope this helps!
Regards
