Loss of Shares
{I think this is the model - RN21400 with 4 drive slots) I upgraded to the latest firmware this afternoon and after the reboot, all I have for shares is Home and my email address as a folder name...
Thanks to the Netwgear Moderator all now resolved
I have followed the instructions twice and both times, the conclusion you have reached has not been achieved and I have the same situation as before.
Things I saw when I tried to replicate the instructions:
1 The tab I have is called Access (there is an on/off toggle on that page which I tried and resulted in no success
2 When I toggled the Access back to 'On' there was a drop of connection and when trying to log back to the page there was an error however with persistance I did sign back on and found what was there before
3 For reference the services set to on in the Access tab are currenly SMB and AFP
Not sure if I'm doing something awry, but welcome feedback

I upgraded the firmware as suggested - same result
Went through the original processes again - same result
I know the data is still prsent as the disk space remaining hasn't dropped but just concerned how I get access to it

How many shares do you see under Shares in the admin page? Can you confirm please that SMB is enabled on all of them. Please also check SMB under System > Settings > Services > SMB.

1 Only see "Home Folders" and this has SMB set on (as well as AFP)
2 I can confirm that in System|settings SMB is set to on
Could do you please send logs to let me check?
