I have the exact same problem. After update of Squeezecenter and ReadyNAS, I feared I had lost a bunch of my files (mostly rips of my DVD collection) so i went looking for help and saw this.
When I rename the share, the contents appear again, but the old name won't work. Not very encouraging. I'm hoping someone either from NetGear, or someone who receives support from them will post here what's going on. Thanks everyone.
