Mac Access as Admin
Hi, I am getting a Mac next week, and a little unsure of the big wide world of Mac.! Currently on my PC, I have to connect to the files as Admin (using DOS Prompt etc) - otherwise I cant change,...

What I can say is that my NAS has in its options "file access" :
folder owner : guest
folder group : guest
read/write for : everyone, folder owner folder group.
I have an RN104 on OS6 so this may or may not be the good settings for you. You can always try to create an new share and see what default settings they have and mimic them. Of course, even if it doesn't seem dangerous a backup is always a good thing before any testing.
