Volumes can't be renamed. You'd have to enable flexraid (if it's not already enabled), destroy the volume, create a new one, and then restore the contents.
If its the only volume, uninstall all apps before doing this.

Would you be able to edit the protocols? Maybe set it to AFP or access it via AFP? Then test if you will get the same issue.

K.. I've turned on AFP on all my Share folders and I added TimeMachine & Pictures shares to my user auto login.
I'll know by nights end if there's a problem.

Looks like it's working without error. However, when I boot up my mac is popping up a login for ReadyNAS.
it's already got my username & PW and I have to hit [ OK ] for it to connect.
I've checked the [ ] save password in keychain.. but it comes back up everytime.
... How can I get it to just Automatically LOG IN ??

Not really a MAC user but it could be that your keychain has an Auto-lock on it.
How to manage passwords with Keychain Access
If this does not help you, better check with Apple support as well.
