Mac rename and move folders pw request
Hi, my RN516 is runnning th latest OS 6.9.2 and I use a Mac with smb shares.
Finder has a nice funtion "create folder with selected files". The creates a new folder moves the selected files into and you can rename the folder.
It works fine for a while but then the starts for aksing my password. Giving him the password sometimes the nas renames the folder and sometimes a get the messages not havong enoigh privileges. In that case I have to move to move files out of the folder and delte it without problems.
I have the some problem with moving an old folder its asking my pw, no error messaage but the folder dos not move to the new loaction. Trying the some from Windows I got the message files in use but it is not. I have to create a new at the new location move the files and delete the old folder.
I disbaled NAS virus scanner with no efect. Only a nas reboot will help for a while.

Hi,
no idears for me? I cannot move move or rename a directory neither from MAC nor from Windows. The only way to do is copy and delte the old one. MAC is requesting my password without effect and for Windows the file is in use what ist not true.
