Manually running TiVo Utility
My RN102 has the ability to schedule the TiVo Archive job for a set date and time. I was wondering if there was a way to manually run the job instead of scheduling it? I'm not a Unix person, so if there is a way to PuTTY into the share and run the job, an example would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Z

Hello Zonker,
I don't remember seeing that option. Maybe other community member can share. But if there really was no option, You may also post suggestions and ideas at the Idea Exchange board. Adding kudos to the ideas will help as development team will be reviewing the post that has the most kudos for considering it to add to the product's future functionality.

Thanks for the reply JennC,
Yes I realize there is no option in the current software to manually run the TiVo Utility. My thought was since the TiVo Utility is a scheduled job that runs, there might be a way to manually kick-off the utility using a command line interface on the NAS. If the name of the TiVo Utility is known, then it does not seem that it would be all that complicated to run it through the CLI of the NAS.
Thanks,
