Migration to OS6 : users and groups from OS 4 : #23902630
Hi, I've been trying to find docs/post but no luck. I'm moving all data/users from a PRO6 to a 316. In trying to move the users/groups , the only thing I found was to save them in configuration zip...
OS6 is quite different to OS4.
An advanced user could try a config backup from both, compare and update the OS6 files and zip up again (be sure to zip it up again correctly. If you zip e.g. CONFIG_BACKUP it will restore to /CONFIG_ BACKUP. You need to zip the contents e.g. "etc" to restore to the correct directories e.g. /etc
It could take some trial and error to get it right.
