Migration to OS6 : users and groups from OS 4 : #23902630
Hi, I've been trying to find docs/post but no luck. I'm moving all data/users from a PRO6 to a 316. In trying to move the users/groups , the only thing I found was to save them in configuration zip...

so I had to merge old and new files from a config backup (user & groups only) :
1) /etc/passwd (users), /etc/group (groups), /etc/shadow (user passwords), /etc/samba/smbpasswd (SAMBA password)
2) Rezip as original structure.
3) Restore to nas
After reboot, all was ok.
In any case and in order to (possibly) improve everybody's experience I logged a support case : #23902630
