Missing files using CIFS but visible using AFP
I have photos stored on a Share with no special characters in the filenames. When I connect to my Photos share via CIFS on my iMac as either admin, User, or Guest, I only see the 1,414 individual fil...
I believed I have isolated the issue. Certain photos were marked as "hidden" that must have somehow occurred during importing via Lightroom5. There didn't seem to be a way through the ReadyNAS nor my iMac to deselect that attribute. Fortunately, I had a Windows 7 machine and was able to change the file properties on the "hidden" photos. I can now see the full number of files in both AFP and CIFS.
