Modification of rsync backup script possible?
I am switching to rsync as my backup protocol for the ReadyNAS, however I don't like the "sync" nature of it - I want the tool to copy new or modified files, but not delete anything from the backup if...
I noticed that box, and left it unchecked, but when I changed a job to use rsync it promptly removed 200G of files from the destination that did not exist on the source. So I am not confident that this checkbox does what I want.
