My Plex Server app disappeared after installing firmware 6.5.2
Once I loaded firmware 6.5.2 my plexserver app which was already installed disappeared from the list of installed apps. The worst thing is that it also doesn't show in the unistalled app list anymore...
I am puzzled on why it disappeared from the installed list.
Plex is no longer providing the app through Netgear, you need to download it from plex.tv yourself. That is probably why it isn't on the uninstalled list. It should be safe to download their netgear x86 download and manually install it from the systems->settings page.
Is plex still running?
No its gone all together. So plex won't show up in the app list even if it was where I got it before going to 6.5.2?

plex stopped distributing the app through Netgear. So it's not on apps.readynas.com and its not on available apps.
Ok.
So I went to plex site and tried to download the app there. I put the file on my pc and then tried to upload it from NAS app page. syatem log states:
System: Cannot install application C:\Users\L\Downloads\plexmediaserver-ros6-binaries_1.1.4.2757-24ffd60_amd64.deb.
Happen on either one I pick from any options of: intel 6.x
Arm 6.x
Arm 6.x- RN2xx ( error says use the .deb when I attempt to install) think this it's a .bin option
