Hi all, The first thing is to say thank you very much in advance for your help. I have a RN104 since Nov.2015 with 4x6TB in RAID 5 (almost full) with both LAN connected with 2 IP. I upgraded the software to 6.9.1 at the begining of December and it was working ok but at the end of Dec I upgraded the APP Plex and it causes a problem in my RN. It is not accesible from any computer (Windows/Windows Explorer or Mac/Finder) it is visible but no accesible to any folder and also other folders are new in the root (admin, data and home) Plex is not detecting the Ready NAS Media Server and it is not possible to see nothing in Plex. NAS is accesible in the Admin page and all disk are working ok and also accessible in RAIDar 6.3.0 Ping from Mac with positive feedback. No working in ReadyCloud - Message is NAS doesn't have connection. What I have tried is: -first to reinstall Plex before to be aware the NAS is not accesible (many times but not possible to install). - I decided to reinstall Firmware from Boot Menu - I reinstall 6.9.1 from admin page - I dowgraded to 6.9.0 from admin page - I upgraded to 6.9.1 from admin page ... but nothing worked I really appreciate your help on this because a lot of info in my NAS I would like to preserve ... I am sending also the logs to the email. PS. Sorry about my English (I am from Spain)...4.9KViews0likes22CommentsUnable to install or uninstall any apps
This issue has been going on for quite a while now, through multiple OS updates. Currently running ReadyNAS OS 6.7.4. I can't install or uninstall any new apps via the admin console. It seems to download them just fine, but when it's working through the actual installation process it tells me it's unable to install or uninstall the package. Mainly, I'm trying to update Plex. Even downloading from the Plex website and uploading via admin console, it says it can't install the package. I've tried restarting, I've tried waiting for the next OS upgrade... nothing. I've already backed up my database files with WInSCP (backed up my couchpotato settings as well, as that's been inoperable for a while) and if all else fails I'll manually install via command line... but I'd REALLY like to fix it the right way.9.4KViews0likes20CommentsPlex Broken after upgrade to 6.7.3

Hello Happy with my NAS since 2010... i want to add a media server to stream music and video... I want to try plex, and understant that's an old version is available (https://community.netgear.com/t5/Community-Add-ons/Plex-Media-Server-0-9-5-3/td-p/787995) But the message on this page advise to search for a newer version... "To get Plex, please go to http://plexapp.com/getplex/ click NAS Appliances and download the Intel 4.x release." Unfortunately, this link is redirected to the actual plex site where "plex for intel4.x" release is now not listed... So, two questions... - is there a risk to install the oldest version of plex, compatbile with my RAIDiator 4.2.30...? - is it possible to upgrade my NAS to a newest OS6...??? (perhaps it's stupid question... ;-o) i apologize !) thanks for anyhelp pam6.6KViews0likes3CommentsPLEX does not show up in APPs on 6.6.0 Ready NAS 104
I have 6.6.0 firmware. I know this used to show Plex under "APPS". Now it does not. I have read the other thread that is marked solved, but it's unclear what "solved" it. That thread mentions multiple random factory resets and also mentions downloading PLEX from PLEX and uploading it to the NAS. I'd like to know what the real solution or next steps are to troubleshoot this issue. I would rather not do a factory reset. I think I actually had it set up once, and removed it. Now I'm ready to focus on it, but it's not showing up.7.3KViews0likes45CommentsMy Plex Server app disappeared after installing firmware 6.5.2
Once I loaded firmware 6.5.2 my plexserver app which was already installed disappeared from the list of installed apps. The worst thing is that it also doesn't show in the unistalled app list anymore. I believe the system think its still installed.4.8KViews0likes9CommentsPlex Updated and lost my liberys...but

Greetings. OK, so the ReadyNAS 214 can now transcode. Great! I need to set up some client profiles for my DLNA receivers (audio only here), and there's considerable debate(/deagreement) on the Plex forums as to where the client profile directory resides on different implementations of Plex. Anybody know where the (user - not system) DLNA client profiles go on the ReadyNAS (remember i'm using the 21x version)? Also, where is the DLNA log file, that will give the names of my devices as they connect and start to stream, as I'll need to put those names in the client profiles. Thanks all.4.1KViews0likes2Comments
