Would you mind if you will try to break the bond and just use on active NIC in your ReadyNAS? Also, tell us if you have power timer scheduled on your device.

thank you for your reply. I know what you are thinking, but this feature is important to me. Not because I need it, it' s just because I want to have it.:smileyvery-happy:
But why is it that way, just because I use an bond option the NAS won' t shutdown? In my opinion these features are not good implemented.
You are right. Until yesterday this "power timer" option was checked. Now I will try if this option was the case.

FWIW, forcing the power down by removing the power cord is not ideal, there is some risk to your data every time you do it.
Does your switch support LACP? If it does, you would have needed to set it up on the switch.
Either way, I suggest you do a test w/o the bond, and at least determine if removing it resolves the problem (or not).
