NAS hung while copying data on 6.2
I was copying some data (200GB) from backup to my Pro 6 on 6.2. I came back after a bit and the unit was completely hung. The only thing I could do was ping it. No SMB, no web UI, no ssh, nothing.
So I had to hard shut it down and upon reboot the data volume started rebuilding. I started copying the data again and about 5 minutes later the exact same thing happened.
I am curious what logs I should be looking at to determine what may have happened, or if I could send them to someone to take a look?
I'm still on the fence about 6.2 and this hasn't helped one bit. My 4.x install was ROCK SOLID.

- dhonzikAspirantI am having the same thing happened to me with OS 6.2 on my ultra 4 plus while copying my data back to the share volume on the NAS drive via the front USB port. So far it has happened 3 times, the last time I was able to recover without rebooting the NAS device. I had the antivirus and the antivirus plus loaded when it first crashed, removed it then the only app running is the SMB plus or what ever is called. I am using TeraCopy to copy the data from the external drive via the front usb port. I will disable the app and snapshots in case that is that causing the problem. If you want to see my logs, let me know where to send them.

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredHi dhonzik, it looks like your NAS is having trouble communicating with your UPS. Your logs are flooded with this error message:
Dec 02 11:26:50 NAS upsmon[2624]: Poll UPS [UPS@localhost] failed - Data stale
Also I see your USB disk has a few partitions on it.
