NAS offline - ReadyNAS 104 with firmware 6.5.1
Hi all,
I am having an issue tht I cant seem to solve. Today I updated Nas to latest firmware and also updated plex media server to latest version since then the Readycloud page is showing offline with no devices discoverable. I used Raidar and disks are fine with green lights for everything. I can access the files via the browse option witin Raidar.
The only app I use is Plex and Plex finds the server and shows files but when i attempt to open its very slow to load and warns me the connection is slow, finally the power button causes the system to freeze on system shutting down which causes me to either pull the plug or shutdown via setup.
Any help would be appreciated and I have downloaded logs.
Thanks

Appoligies i forgot the ReadyNAS forum moderator within subject line but hopefully you have it.
- Fandango522AspirantFollowing your instructions, I now have access to both admin and ready cloud. On opening ready cloud I receive an error message 6001010106.
Improvement on last position, any one know the error code?

RAID doesn't equal backup. The protection against a single disk failure from e.g. X-RAID is great, but there are other less common problems than a disk failure that may be run into. See e.g. Preventing Catastrophic Data Loss
I don't know what causes this error code.

Great information and thanks for the advice! Backup dive it is.
I can live with the code since I can now acess the drive with ease and will hopfeully figure out the problem with the Nas and plex server communicating.
Thanks again for your time.

Hi Fandango522,
Have you started backing up your data? If you want us to fix the ReadyCLOUD error you got on the web portal, the Firmware should be 6.5.1. Update this thread if you want to proceed.
Kind regards,
BrianL
