Need to access external USB backup drive
Hey Guys, I have a USB 3.0 backup drive with some very important files on it that I was using with my ReadyNAS Duo v2. I recently upgraded to Pro 2 and I am trying to access this backup drive. ...
what is the firmware version of your Pro 2?latest version is 4.2.22,not sure why your USB drive can not recognized in NAS.
copying with -50 error message should be the problem with Appledouble folders.
Here is a way to copy data from your Mac machine to NAS without being stopped by Mac OS
1.Enable Rsync service on your shares of NAS
2.download Rsync for Mac software http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/20983/arrsync
3.select folders you want to copy to NAS.
