Need to access external USB backup drive
Hey Guys,
I have a USB 3.0 backup drive with some very important files on it that I was using with my ReadyNAS Duo v2.
I recently upgraded to Pro 2 and I am trying to access this backup drive.
I've tried connecting it to the Pro 2, but doesn't mount or detect any file systems.
I've tried connecting to Mac OS X 10.8 and Windows 7, but both won't mount. Just tells me to initialize.
This USB drive unfortunately has my wedding photos...
What can I do to access these files?
Thanks so much!
edit:
I installed a ext3 driver onto my Mac and it reads the drive and the content is there but it's super slow and everything I try to copy the content to the NAS I get error -50 when the copy starts.
I tried plugging the USB drive to the front USB 3.0 port, but the NAS still does not read the drive. This is depressing...

http://www.ext2fsd.com/ is a newer package, you might want to try it if you want Windows access.HERBIEO wrote: What about if you install Ext2 Installable File System for Windows and then try to access it from windows machine, look here > Ext2 http://www.fs-driver.org/index.html - hey Herbieo!
