Netgear ReadyNAS 214 won't boot past 99% and Shares not accessible
My ReadyNAS had been a bit slow in reacting and bringing up files so I looked at the screen and saw "booting 99%" and "clamav-clamonacc". After attempting to access the device via RAIDar I saw that...

I suggest downloading the full log zip file from the logs page.
Are you seeing "inactive volumes" on the volumes page? Or something else?
- HansPoppJun 14, 2024AspirantThanks for the reply StephenB.
The NAS brings up an error when I try to download the log files.
When I reboot in OS reinstall mode, I can see the following error on the admin page:
"Please remove inactive volumes #1 2 3 to use your drive." or similar- StephenBJun 14, 2024Guru - Experienced User

What error are you getting when you download the log files?
Are you seeing any indication on the logs page that the root is full?

Hello Stephen,
I dont know of any recovery mode in the ReadyNAS 214. The OS reinstall resets the firmware back to "safe" version in the flash memory according to the manual. The OS reinstall option is the only one that has let me access the Admin page to troubleshoot, but you can see even here that some corruption is present. It also resets the admin password back to default.
I'll upload some screenshots of the errors I receive when I access the Admin page after booting in OS reinstall mode. The logs were also not accessible/downloadable, but I was just able to download them. Previously the dbbroker had brought up an error. How can I upload them? This page only allows PDF, GIF, PNG and JPG.
Thank you so much for your help!!
