Netgear ReadyNAS 3200 + Backup Exec 2012
Hi all,
we are trying to find a solution to backup our Netgear ReadyNAS 3200 via Backup Exec 2012. I read already here: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=62604 that this is not possible, but is it really not possible?
We have the datas in the egnyte cloud and on the NAS, but we want to have it also on tape!
Any help for this?

- I don't know if you are upgrading or doing a fresh install, but in our organisation it "works".
Our 3200 has Raidiator 4.2.16 installed with the Ralus version 13.0.4164 and that has worked with Backup Exec 2010R2.
Since then, One backup server had to be updgraded to BE 2012 because of the addition of Exchange server 2013 to our network. This combination also works, however every backup is concluded in "backed up with exceptions" state and in the log you will find:
"The remote computer is running a previous version of the Backup Exec Agent for Windows. You must upgrade the agent for Windows to enable secure communication between the agent and Backup Exec servers."
It is not an ideal situation, but it looks like it is as good as it's going to get.
Not sure if it works the same way when you install BE 2012 from scratch though.
