Netgear ReadyNAS Ultra 4 device : can access shares via https://IP/Share but not the admin page
admin page https://IP/Admin believe is blocked due to old TLS - we use w10 latest ver and tls1 is banned ( cannot activate ) also tried ssh access : connection gets closed immediately - like it is ...

thanks Firefox 94.0.2 allowed me to access admin page and load the apache update
now i can access admin page also from Chrome / Edge
but i still have some issues: from windows10 the CIF (SMB) shares cannot be reached anymore ( believe still due to the TLS issue ? is there a fix also for that ?
my cisco phones used to access some xml files on a share on this NAS but now ( i've checked accessing the share from a browser ) the share asks to login ( btw with admin credentials ) and the phones aren't capable to ligin - before it was a guest share "open to anyone" ie public share
lastly you suggested to go to OS6 , id there a document that explains how to do it ( Netgear never advised ) and in this upgrade do i loose all files stored or is just like a firmware/OS upgrade ?
thanks

No TLS involved on SMB.
I believe (no, I know) that your Windows 10 system does not have CIFS (SMB 1.0) enabled or had it disable over time because it was not in use.
Simple: Open the Control Panel, search Turn Windows Features on and off and enable SMB 1.0/CIFS Server and Client.
no tricks, no power shell, no editing the registry.
Same for the unauthenticated (public) access you are behind for your phones phonebooks and so on. Just do as advised above. There can be a little "if". Some Windows builds refuse to do unauthenticated (public) access to shares. Chime back if this proofs to be an issue.

Do you have any internet security software installed on the PC? That might be blocking the SMB 1 connection.
Also, have you tried entering \\nas-ip-address into the explorer address bar? (using the real IP address of course, and being careful to use the correct slash).

yes tried in the file explorer \\10.44.20.19 that is ip of nas but fails ( used to work in the past )
will check if it is a corporate security tool or setting , but believe MS deprecated completely SMB1
luckily have found a solution to re-enable phone access via public http , will post for reference
thanks
