netgear RNDP6000 pioneer edition booting problem.

Hello community Members.

im having a problem with my nas

i hade a power surge due a short circuit in my microwave.

now i have the problem when i switch the main power switch on the back off the nas

nothing happens i can press the power button as mutch as i like.

than i sit down and wait and after 2 or 3 mins the nas powers up out of the bleu.

after it spins up everything works perfectly.

when shutting down the nas it works fine but 2 seconds later it powers up and starts the nas and it keeps doing that when i press the powerbutton thats why i use the power switch on the back.

anyone know something about this problem and how to fix this?

my waranty is expired and cant seem to find any place to fix the nas in holland.

hope someone can help me couse it was a very expensive device.

sorry for my english hope u understand me .

  • The power supply may have been damaged by the power surge.

You could try getting a replacement PSU and extender cable.
