Hi Guys,
I've been battling this problem for a while, playing with Windows & UAC settings and others. Here's the latest. I have restored the NAS to factory default so Username and Password are restored. I can get into front view, I can change settings in their. I currently have the security mode set to user with 3 users setup. I still have problems when clicking on my NAS in the network section of windows IE go to Start, Computer, Network, Click on NAS. What I get is a window with Windows security at the top and then text below saying "Enter Network Passowrd. Enter your password to connect to:ROOMNAS (Name of my NAS)." So i would think that is the logon details for the NAS which has been reset to default. I have tried the password, but where I think the problem is is with Windows 7 Security. I have played with my Admin account (Windows 7), I have changed the UAC, I have tried working through the Credential Manager in windows. I know this is a windows problem not a ReadyNAS issue but wondering if anyone has had a similar problem??
