I have spent the last week on this issue. My laptop runs Windows 7 Pro x64. Netgear ReadyNAS NV+ runs Raidiator 4.1.12. Was getting the "Enter Network Password" prompt on only 1 of my 8 shares. Here's what fixed it. I went to my Shares listing and entered a password for the troublesome share, then pressed "Apply". Verified that Windows Explorer still could not access files on the share. Then I went back to Shares listing and deleted the password for the troublesome share, pressed "Apply". Voila. Now Explorer sees all files on the share. Clearly this is a bug in Raidiator (my opinion).

You are a genius. This worked for me.
- set a password on the share and apply
- try to access it with no luck
- remove the password on the share and apply
- access the share no problem
Thank you for your insight and more importantly for taking the time to share it.
Also, enabling HTTPS on the share works as well but that does not solve the real issue which your solution does.
