Now Explorer sees all files on the share. Clearly this is a bug in Raidiator (my opinion).

Found this info with a search on the forum - I had inserted a usb flash drive into the front of my readynas nv+ to see if I could provide some expansion for non-critical files, and got the Enter Network Password (Enter your password to connect to Readynasxx). This worked a treat, so thanks to marsano and the forum.
