Also you could try to connect to the ReadyNAS using RAIDar.
When you say that you use the “admin” account or the one you created matching the “w7 user” are you then talking about accounts on your Windows machine or on your ReadyNAS? In case you meant the former please try the ReadyNAS admin account for a test.
