Network traffic after TM is complete.
After my time machine backup is complete, there is still some network traffic and my "Time Machine Backups" is still mounted. If I eject that mount, the traffic stops. I looked through the forms...
Workaround:
Its a Lion ( OSX 10.7) issue.
Workaround is shut off spotlight searching, which I do not use.
sudo mdutil -a -i off
