At least netgear is being honest this time in saying no support for old products. Up front and honest for a change.
They said they were going to update the firmware on the ultra/pro line to 5.0 with the nicer interface when the nv/duo v2 were announced in late 2011. We all know that hasn't happened. Netgear has given up on real support for their products. I recently had a switch which had a lifetime warrantee they refused to honor. I don't recommend them anymore while they used to be my top choice.
