New Router = Can't Find RN424 drives
My RN424 is connected to a netgear network switch (GS116), and the switch is connected to a ~20-year-old T-Mobile TM-AC1900 router (rebadged ASUS router), which connects to my DSL modem. This setup h...

I haven't been able to find HinT. Also, do I really need RAIDar? My RN424 can display its IP address on its front display. But, I will certainly install it if I need it.
I have other switches in this network, but they are all unmanaged: two Netgear GS116's and one GS105. The RN424 is connected to the same switch as my existing router, to which I attempted to connect the T-Mobile gateway resulting in my "losing" the network drive.
I tried connecting the T-Mobile gateway to the WAN port on my existing ancient router, leaving the router LAN connections as they are, but I had no wired access to the internet as a result. However, after some research, I have discovered that I may have to reboot the router and NAS when I change WANs, which I have not tried yet.

And the local IP address of your computer.
Also, try the other port on the NAS.

kmmcd: The redirection from 192.168.12.1 to 192.168.1.1 when you try to reach the gateway's admin ui is unexplained. It's possible that your gateway is actually creating a 192.168.1.1 subnet. We need to know if that is the case (or not) in order to properly troubleshoot. Getting the PC's IPv4 address would give us that information. There is no security risk here, as the IP addresses we are asking for are purely local.
We also need to confirm that the NAS IP address is compatible with that subnet. One scenario is that you assigned a static IP address to the NAS using its web UI when you first installed it. That address might not be compatible with the T-mobile subnet.
Also, knowing the NAS IP address is useful when troubleshooting access to the web admin UI and shares. One possibility here is that the PC can't resolve the NAS hostname on your new network. The easiest way to troubleshoot that is to use the local NAS IP address instead. and see if that works. If that is the problem, you can just use the IP address as a work-around.
