Hi all, after performing the advices i got here, i still could not acces the admin page. There was not much more to do then a total factory reset after a backup from the data. I changed the network cable and did a factory reset and hey..i finally could acces the admin page again. Probably there has been a corruption in a config file of the NAS. All thanx for the replies and i consider this as solved

Hai Roland, thnx for the advice, but still it does not work in Firefox, i added the exception but still it says "invalid certificate". I deleted Firefox and reinstalled it but no succes.
Maybe perform a OS re-install of the NAS?

May 22, 2018I dont think an OS reinstall would help.
If you did not use Microsoft Edge so far in accessing the nas, please do.
It seems to be the most "tolerant" browser regarding dubious certificates to my experience.
Here is what I do in edge and it works for me:
- in the url-box put the ip address of your nas according to the following pattern
- click on "details" when seeing "this website is not secure"
- click on "load website anyways" (have it in German, not sure how this reads in english)
- now it displays the login screen for you
- key in your credentials and connect to the nas
If all this does not work, try your browsers with all add-ins disabled, if there are any and see whether this makes a difference.
A completely different approach tries to eliminate a potential problem on your network. To exclude issues on your intranet with routers and/or switches or other workstations you directly hook a workstation to the nas rj45-to-rj45 using an ethernet cable. You would need to configure the ethernet interface on the workstation to use a fix address and look at the nas as the primary gateway/router. In this case make sure, that nas and workstation are configured to be on the same network. Also make sure there is no other connection from/to nas and workstation. They need to be a completely isolated couple. As your browser I would recommend edge here, too. Should you be successful in accessing the nas in this scenario don't be too happy. It would only mean, that you have to deeply think about your intranet and its components to find the culprit (could be hardware and/or software even in a nasty combination).

Great job!
Now it would be interesting to know whether the replacement of the network cable or the factory reset did the trick.
