No access despite reset

I purchased my ReadyNAS Duo v1 and registered it back in 2010. I used it once or twice to back up the computer I was using back then.

Just recently I decided to see what was on those 6 year old drives and see if there were any personal documents or images that I may want.

I have bought a newer Windows PC since I last used the ReadyNAS.

On my latest PC I find I am not able to access the NAS.

So I have tried these two options.

1. Factory  Reset but the Authentication doesn't accept these;

User name: admin
Password: password

2. Password Recovery Tool

I complete this and answer the Recovery Question and am told that I will receive an email (the same one that I registered with in 2010) but no email arrives nor does anything go into my spam box!

BTW My old PC is dead so I cannot use that for access.

Can anyone help me please?
