Dear StephanB,
I just solved the problem!
Nevertheless thanks for the feedback, so I will give an answer to your suggestions and explain how I solved it for other users.
Regarding your questions: All computers have in the IP adress range 100-104.
Desktop 1 has internet access, can ping the router, just not the NAS is not responding to the ping (whilst it is visible in raidar).
I can access the folders from computer 1 and 2 mutually. I can access the NAS from desktop 2 and even wireless through the filebrowser of an iPad.
Very very strange.
What I just did, I replaced the router with a switch. Now everything worked fine! So the problem must be the Linksys wrt 160NL router.
I put the router back. In the router I looked at the client tabel for all IP adresses. All computers and the NAS are shown.
Switching off/on the router did not solve the problem. So in the end I just did a hard reset of the router, wiping all configuration settings. I just reinstalled it.
Now everything is working again.
So there must have been something wrong in the router setting, but do not have a clue what it was.
I hope this is of some help for others facing the problem. It took me around 6 hours to find out...
Thanks again.
