Erratic Access to Folders

I have just updated to firmware 6.4.1 from 6.4.0.  I had been having access problems, where connection to the server seemed to last a set amount of time and then we were kicked out.  With the upgrade, there are certain (sub)folders that we just cannot connect to.  When a user tries accessing a trouble folder, the server just kicks them out after a while of trying to connect.  The user has to unmount the drive and mount it again in order to get access back into the server.

    Does this also happen using AFP? If you will turn off AV, will it make a difference?

  • The first image below shows the files when browsing via the Netgear Admin page.  The following image shows what can be seen in Finder ...  After a long wait one of three options is possible - no files show in Finder, all files show in Finder, or you get kicked out of the shared folder and cannot acces it until you disconnect from the Shared Folder and connect again.
