No access to UltraNAS6 and Windows 7
Hello,
I just installed a ReadyNas Ultra6 and while I can see the unit in windows explorer, when I click on the icon, I get the message "OPEN FOLDER: //NAS-ULTRA-6 is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this Server to see if you have access permissions. Login Failure: account currently disabled."
I get this same message from Both of my Windows 7 machines on the network. However, my Windows XP machine, shows the ReadyNas, and can access all the share folders without any problem.
I also have a ReadyNAS NV+ which was in place before adding the Ultra 6, and I can access it without problems from both the XP machine and the Windows 7 machine.
I have tried changing my account name on the Windows 7 machine, and it makes no difference. I do not have a password on either Windows 7 machines to logon to the machine. All folders on the UltraNas6 are public.
Could someone assist? This seems to be at worst a bug with the ReadyNas, or at best, an omission in the setup instructions.
thank you,
Todd Last
