No antivirus updates since upgrade to 6.6.1
Since upgrading to OS 6.6.1 from 6.6.0 last weekend, I have not had any antivirus updates. Also, there is nothing in log showing that it's trying to update the AV definitions....

Thanks, Skywalker,
It appears that my freshclam service has been running since yesterday :
# systemctl status clamav-freshclam.service
● clamav-freshclam.service - ClamAV virus database updater
Loaded: loaded (/lib/systemd/system/clamav-freshclam.service; static; vendor
preset: disabled)
Active: activating (start) since Mon 2017-01-16 09:35:41 WET; 1 day 2h ago
Main PID: 3307 (freshclam)
CGroup: /system.slice/clamav-freshclam.service
└─3307 /usr/bin/freshclam --quiet
I'll kill the process and let the timer service kick in. I look forward to there being some kind of timeout, or to ascertain why the process hangs in the first place...

It looks like there may be an issue with socket notification once the AV signatures are updated. freshclam is waiting for a response to its notification packet, but it never receives one and therefore sits there indefinitely waiting. We've pushed out a live update to fix this, which will remove the clamav-daemon.socket service, and it will also add an 8 hour timeout to the freshclam process. Live updates happen weekly and shortly after a reboot, so if you'd like the update immediately you can reboot the NAS.

Perfect, works like a charm. Immediately after the reboot the AV signature was updated and displayed correctly within the Web-Gui. THX.

After reboot, AV updated. After a day or so, AV still seems to be getting updates, but in order to actually show up in the webui requires another reboot.

Webui refreshing now with AV updates, even without a reboot.

I have two 314's running 6.6.1 on the same LAN. One's AV is dated 2/4/17 (yesterday afternoon), the other's is dated 1/18/17.
I rebooted 20 min ago, and still see the 1/18 date on the one unit. I've toggled AV service off/on too.
Can you quantify "shortly after reboot"? What's my next step if I see 1/18/17 on there tomorrow, for example?
Thanks.

We're getting HTTP error code 503 from Egnyte's repository when trying to update the package lists, which is causing the upgrade process to abort. Do you a firewall or something that might be blocking egnyte-cdn.egnyte.com?

Yes, "cdn." was an entry in a router blacklist, and I've removed it. I rebooted, and waited 5 min, and the AV updated.
I don't understand why one 314 updated just fine, and this other one didn't. As I mentioned in my previous post of 2017-02-05 12:04 PM, both 314's on the same LAN. Strange. Thanks however.
