It wouldn't be a bad opportunity to backup all your data, and do a factory default (wipes all data, settings, everything) to get a clean system. Particularly if you haven't done so in a very long time. There have been a lot of filesystem improvements since say 4.2.8 and 4.2.22 that can only be obtained via doing a factory default.
