Noobie question re 2 RJ45 ports on back of ReadyNAS
Hi, I have a RNDU2000 and just purchased a RN10400 but haven't set it up yet. Both have 2 network ports and I wanted to know if that means you can daisy chain them with patch leads or was there anoth...

On the ultra all you can do is use the ports to connect to different LANs.
On the 104 you can do this or set up a bonded interface - you will need the correct switch to use some of the modes.

For most home users, neither feature is particularly useful.
