Since setting the cloud storage path fails the signing seems to fail as well. I have also cleared browser cookies before pressing "Leave".

I'm having a parallel experience but with Wasabi. After it stopped syncing with the credentials error, I chose the option to leave, and have got to the same point as the OP where I get the Failed to list Wasabi directories message & I've been unable to progress further to reinstate Wasabi syncing. To get to this point it allowed me to choose the bucket, so the access keys are working fine.
If you guys get a solution on Onedrive I'm hoping it will be common to this Wasabi drama. If not, I'll switch to OD as I'm feeling a bit exposed without functional backup
