NV+ boot(?) issues - disks are clean

Well, poop. I managed to boot with the option to skip the boot check. It fully booted and seemed happy. I logged into FrontView and started setting up things to backup to my 516. Somewhere along the line, maybe 15 minutes later (I was testing the backup connection, but hadn't started a job yet), I noticed FrontView was no longer responding. I went over to where the NV+ was sitting, and all of the lights are off, including the LCD.
When it was up, I looked at the logs and nothing stood out. It used to have a habit of shutting down due to heat, but that was in the summer and when it was in a poorly ventilated cabinet. Now it's cooler and sitting on my kitchen counter (right next to the 516), so I'm really not sure what's going on.
