NV+ issues with odd LOG entries and excessive LLC
Hi All. Had my NV+ for 4 years now, 3 years in canada, and now 1 year in Australia with all of the original 2TB HDDs. In the australian heat i'm now getting a LOT of heat warnings in the logs bu...
after getting my head around this LCC thing i did some maths.
none of the old drives had ever had heywdidlediddle run on them.
LCC/hours
Disc 1(new)
15/22
=0.68
Disc 2
995421/24706
=40.29
Disc 3
1385070/24703
=56.068
Disc 4
600015/13295
=45.13
so the new HDD had wdidle from day one, and only has 0.68 LCC per hour. the older hddrives seemed to be having nearly 1 LCC a minute, for the last 2.8 years.
i wonder how long discs 2,3, and 4 are going to last?
as a side note, enabling jumbo frames sped up what i would call slow data transfer times.
anyway, only responding in case this ever interests anyone in the future.
