WAX214 user.emerg : uci: Entry not found and speed issues
Was trying to figure out why this WifI6 AP is not providing anything more than 300MB connections I looked at my logs on my and saw this entry. Not sure what this is for or what to do with this. If anyone can provide some insights into these two thing, I'd really appreciate it. Let me know if you have any questions or need more info.
Device:
- WAX214 - AX1800 WiFi 6 Dual Band PoE Wireless Access Point

Are you asking why you don't get Gigabit? Have you talked to your Internet service provider?

While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge. The WAX214 is an AX1800 PoE Access Point in Netgear's "business" range.
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:

Business Wireless - NETGEAR CommunitiesThank you for replying, I was not expecting Gigabit, was just saying that was my speed in from my modem. I have done speed tests and I am getting my paid for speeds.
I will move the question to your provided link.

The WAX214 does offer theoretical link rates 600Mbps on the 2.4GHz band in 2x2, and 1200Mbps at 5GHz in 2x2 - permitting the 80 MHz 802.11ax (resp 40 MHz for 2.4 GHz) 802.11ax wireless client can deal with.
This does translate to about 886 Mbps for a 2x2 802.11ac 5GHz 80 MHz client or some 300Mbps for a 2x2 802.11n 40 MHz client, in an environment permitting to use channel bonding.
Deduct about 30..40% for the protocol overhead for the possible net data rates.
The 230Mbps could indicate a link rate of 300Mbps, so a 1x1 802.11ac 5GHz radio under good conditions. Said that: The limitations are typically coming from the wireless clients on your computer, not from the AP.

Thanks for the reply, will be reading the material.
Thanks for your reply ... I don't think my client is a limitation here as I'm running a Dell XPS with a WiFi 6 capable WiFi Card. The rest of my devices I can understand. I will be moving the question to the business side as per the first reply.
