Yes, I think that looks like a ReadyNAS serial number (it's the same length as the serial number for at least one of my NV+ units). Please don't post your serial number on a public forum (edit your post to remove it).
Your serial number has 13 digits (not the 12 of a MAC address) and is not the same as the MAC address of the NIC in your NAS. This indicates you have a newer unit than what is covered by the service action.
When did you purchase the NV+? If it was purchased brand new on/after Aug 21, 2007 your ReadyNAS would still be under warranty.
