nv+, st2000ld00, strange beeping, wont go past booting
Hi guys, this is my first NAS and is brand new along with a brand new seagate st2000ld003. After inserting the drive the installation got to 47.8% where it then stopped and strange beeping sounds star...
If you can connect it to your PC, try running the SeaTools diagnostic tools (http://www.seagate.com/www/en-us/suppor ... s/seatools) - this should verify the health of the disk.
But you have probably suffered a failure and , irrespective of any additional tests, your supplier should exchange it
