NV+ v1 PSU died, need replacement
Hi folks,
nothing special, just the usual “help me” kind of topic (though I should normally panic with a potential 5.5TB of data loss).
The case:
- Netgear ReadyNAS NV+ ver. 1 died this morning (bought in 2011).
- Official code, just to be sure we're in the same boat: RND4000-100EUS.
- Most probably PSU (skrcscssssssssssh... <silence>)
- Data on RaidX, 4 * 2TB HDDs.
- No hope to get a “new” one, this model is far outdated, from v2 above RAID has changed, so I need an exact same one, or a PSU.
- After looking around on eBay, I realized I do need a PSU instead.
- I reside in Hungary.
The questions:
- Anyone having a spare one? Of course I pay both for shipping and for the accessory, be it a complete unit, or just the power supply.
- Anyone having any extra advices besides the now well known "don't buy a newer one, incompatible, have Linux to restore data" etc. stuff? A warm thank you if you have any.
Thx a lot in advance.

Hi royaljerry,
Welcome to the community!
Let's wait to hear from other community members if they have a spare chassis or power supply. If all your disks are healthy, we can retrieve the data on a newer OS 6 unit but NETGEAR will require you to get a data recovery contract for the said process.
Let me know if you have further questions.
Kind regards,
BrianL
